This course is designed to empower individuals to choose healthy romantic partners. It provides detailed information differentiating healthy from toxic relational patterns. It also helps people understand why people are drawn to/vulnerable to becoming trapped in toxic relationships. Lastly, it offers practical guidance for how to overcome the destructive thought and behavior patterns that lead people into toxic relationships.

This course is mostly text-based; though there are some l videos in which the instructor guides the learner through two experiential therapeutic exercises. There are also several reflection questions and other written exercises embedded into the course.

This course is intended for personal growth. It would be an excellent guide for parents, teachers, clergy, or other such mentors/leaders to use in supporting teens and young adults as they begin pursuing romantic relationships.

It is also intended for older adults who have a history of involvement in toxic relationships, and want to break free from destructive relational patterns.
